About Mum Loves Data
Mum Loves Data is a support and guidance initiative for international women in Antwerp who are pregnant, preparing for birth, or finding their way in early motherhood.
The initiative grew out of personal experience of trying to understand pregnancy and birth choices in a system that often felt fragmented, difficult to understand, and strongly shaped by implicit local knowledge. What seemed simple and obvious for others could take hours of searching, comparing information, or trying to understand how things work in practice.
Mum Loves Data was created to make this journey calmer, clearer, and more supportive of other international women.
The focus is not only on information, but also on helping women create structure, understand their options, clarify priorities, and feel more grounded in the many decisions and transitions that come with pregnancy and early motherhood.
Support is offered through consultations, support journeys, community gatherings, and practical guidance for internationals living in Antwerp and its surroundings.
About Mum Loves Calm
Mum Loves Calm is the bodywork branch of the initiative and focuses on rest, calm, and nervous system support during pregnancy and (lifelong) postpartum.
It was created from the belief that pregnancy care should not only be practical and informative, but also caring of the changing body.
Through gentle pregnancy massage sessions, Mum Loves Calm offers women a space to slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and feel cared for during an important and often overwhelming transition.
The approach combines warmth, attentiveness, and a strong respect for each woman's individual experience and preferences.
Who am I?
Hi, I'm Linda.
mI'm an international mum living in Antwerp, and the founder of Mum Loves Data and Mum Loves Calm.
Before moving into the world of pregnancy and motherhood support, I worked across several fields, including education, visual communication, academic research, and data analysis. In 2021, I defended my doctoral thesis in social sciences.
When I became pregnant myself, I became deeply interested in pregnancy, birth, postpartum care, and the social and emotional realities of becoming a mother far away from one's original support system. I spent substantial time researching, learning, listening to other women's experiences, and trying to understand how the pregnancy and birth system, here in Antwerp, works in practice. Especially for internationals.
Over time, this gradually evolved into a support practice that combines practical guidance, structured thinking, emotional sensitivity, and calm care.
My work today brings together many parts of my background: research, communication, education, design, systems thinking, and hands-on care.
I believe pregnancy is a such a special time in one's life that it deserves both good information and gentleness. Structure and warmth. Clarity and calm.
