I’m pregnant. Now what?

Expecting a baby in a country away from home comes with many questions. In this series of free information sessions, we will walk through some of the most important topics in the pregnancy journey. This is also a chance to have answers to questions that are on your mind at the moment.

And a nice bonus: you get to meet other international families on the same path as you.

Organised in collaboration with Lucy's Antwerp.

Tuesday, December 8 - 7-8 PM

Topic: What support is available after the baby is born?

Practicalities

The language of the training is English.

The information session is free, but you are welcome to contribute an amount of your choice after the session.

What to expect?

Each of the 1-hour information sessions have the same structure, but each month the topic of the session differs.

  1. Clear and structured information

First, you will hear clear and structured information about some aspect of the pregnancy journey. This includes an overview of options available for you in Antwerp, what’s the most common choice within the international community, and some additional practical tips that can help you along the way.

  2. Answers to your questions

The second part of the session is open to your questions on any aspect of maternity care in Antwerp. No worries if you can’t think of a question to ask. There are topics, which, from experience, are always useful when navigating pregnancy in Belgium.

And lastly, this is also a nice chance to meet other international couples going through the same journey as you.

Trust me, having a network of people in a similar situation as yours will be invaluable after the baby is born.

Who is this for?

This series of information sessions is meant for English-speaking couples expecting a baby. You are free to choose whether you want to attend the session on your own or with your partner.
