Pregnancy Consultations for Expat Women in Antwerp

Navigating pregnancy as an expat can be overwhelming—especially when you're unfamiliar with the local healthcare system and the information you need is fragmented or hard to access.

You deserve to feel informed, empowered, and supported throughout your journey, whether you’re planning to have a baby or expecting one.

I offer tailored pregnancy consultations to help you understand what are the options for you in Antwerp and how to make the right choices for you and your baby.

What I Do

I’m here to help you organize your pregnancy and birth journey, making sure you know all your options and are connected with the right professionals.

With a focus on clear information and a good ear for your unique situation, I provide:

  • Personalized Consultations: Tailored one-on-one sessions on a wide range of topics. Starting from how to find a suitable an independent midwife and apply to daycare, to designing and printing birth announcements.

  • Information and Guidance: I provide you with an overview of the pregnancy and childbirth services available in Antwerp. Since much of the information is in Dutch and spread across different organizations, I research and gather additional details tailored to your situation.

  • Connections to Professionals: I help you find professionals in maternity care, childcare, and postpartum support, ensuring you have the right team in place to support you and your growing family.

  • Decision-Making Support: I help organize and clarify the key decisions you need to make throughout your pregnancy.

How does it work?

Our journey begins with the first introductory consultation of 1 hour. You tell me about you, your situation, the topics you are interested in, and the help you are looking for. I tell you what I do and what I can offer to you. Then we move on to your most urgent questions.

It can be that you only need this one consultations. And that is absolutely fine.

Alternatively, we make a plan of several consultations, note the main topics to discuss, and book the timeslots. The consultations can be spread across multiple months or it can be a one intensive week of information. You choose.

The consultations take place at your home*. If you prefer a different location, I can arrange that too.

*Only for the city of Antwerp. If you live outside city, contact me to discuss what’s possible.

We can also meet online, but I strongly suggest to start with a consultation in person.

A consultation of 1h costs 60 EUR.
